Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The initial three-year agreement with Microsoft for Server and Cloud Enrollment and Azure cloud storage subscription services was approved in August of 2015. In August of 2018 a three year extension of the agreement was approved. That agreement expires August 31, 2021. This proposed agreement will continue services beginning September 1, 2021 through August 31, 2024.
This agreement provides for two IT related services: Microsoft SQL Database Licensing ($63,000 per year) and Microsoft Azure Cloud Storage Services ($77,000 per year) for a total contract amount of $140,000 per year, for the three-year contract term.

The pricing for the Enterprise Agreement is from the Riverside County agreement 8084445, which was from a competitively bid Request for Proposal (RFP), and was fully executed in August 2019. See attachment C.
