Recommended Action
Receive election presentation and accept the Yolo County Certified Statement of Vote (SOV) Results for the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election, which includes the results of the City of West Sacramento City Council election.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
California Elections Code Section 15372 requires the county elections official to prepare and submit a certified statement of vote of the election results to the County Governing Body (Board of Supervisors) within 30 days of the election. The Assessor/County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters certified the results of the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. The certified results include the results of the City of West Sacramento City Council Special Election, pursuant to Board Order 21-103 wherein this Board approved the consolidation of the City of West Sacramento Special Election with the California Gubernatorial Recall Election conducted on September 14, 2021.
