For Quarter 2 of FY 21-22, County staff efforts of $99,860 were expended toward work on the following projects that are in process:
  • Ongoing design efforts on the 2022 Pavement Preservation Project
  • Ongoing design efforts on the County Road 27 Bike Lane & Rehabilitation Project
  • Ongoing design efforts and Cal Fire grant opportunity for the County Road 41 Washout Relocation Project
  • Geotechnical investigation for rehabilitation design for 2022 spring/summer road maintenance projects on portions of County Roads 1, 7, 16, 84, 89, and 89B
  • Coordination with the City of Davis for the future County Road 102 bike project
The attached budget resolution is needed to complete the $99,860 reimbursement to the Road Fund using the contingency funds. Such appropriations are authorized with a four-fifths vote of the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Government Code section 29125.

With approval of this reimbursement, $198,585 will remain in this contingency funding for the second half of FY 21-22.
