Recommended Action

  1. Accept as complete the Old Juvenile Detention Facility Abatement and Demolition Project, performed under Agreement No. 3920 by AMPCO INC; and
     
  2. Authorize the Director of General Services to sign and record the Notice of Completion.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background

AMPCO INC. completed the Old Juvenile Detention Facility Abatement and Demolition Project on February 28, 2022 in accordance with the contract plans and specifications.  The Board of Supervisors' acceptance of the work, and authorization for the Director of General Services to record the Notice of Completion (see Attachment A), will allow the Project to be closed out and final payment to be made to the contractor.
