Recommended Action
Approve agreement with The Regents of the University of California on behalf of the Davis Campus Center for Human Services Continuing and Professional Education for state mandated staff development and training services for the period of July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2026, with a maximum contract amount of $238,000, of which $221,340 is Yolo County’s contribution and $16,660 is an in-kind contribution from the University.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Regents of the University of California on behalf of the Davis Campus Center for Human Services Continuing and Professional Education has developed a human and social services training program that meets training requirements mandated by the California Department of Social Services in the areas of fraud, income eligibility verification, overpayments, and child welfare core knowledge. These trainings are critical for social services staff and ensure the Agency meets its mandated training requirements.
Approval of this agreement will ensure the County has a training program in place to meet the state mandated training requirements.
