Reason for Recommended Action/Background
A resolution is required annually with each Transportation Development Act (TDA) claim submittal in order to receive funds. Although there is no calendar deadline to submit the application, it is advantageous to proceed quickly in order to receive the funds in a timely manner.
Each year the County is required to submit a claim to SACOG to receive funding made available by the State of California Transportation Development Act. The attached claim reflects the amount of 1/4-cent sales tax funds to be made available to Yolo County in FY2021-22 for transit, and streets and roads purposes.

Collaborations (including Board advisory groups and external partner agencies)
Each incorporated city adopts its own TDA claim for the source of TDA funds and is therefore not included with the County's claim. Transit services addressed in the attached claim are administered by the Yolo County Transportation District.
