Reason for Recommended Action/Background
California Elections Code Section 15372 requires the county elections official to prepare and submit a certified statement of vote of the election results to the County Governing Body (Board of Supervisors) within 30 days of the election. The Assessor/County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters certified the results of the November 8, 2022, General Election on Thursday, December 1, 2022. The appointments in-lieu of election due to insufficient nominees for the November 8, 2022, General Election were accepted in a prior Board of Supervisors meeting held on November 8, 2022. This recommended action approves the Yolo County November 8, 2022, General Election results and completes the process for the November 8, 2022, General Election.
