For Quarter 3 of FY 22-23, County staff efforts of $182,805 were expended toward work on the following projects that are in process:
  • Ongoing efforts by our grant writing consultant to pursue funding opportunities for the County Road 32A Railroad Crossing Relocation Project
  • Ongoing design efforts by our road design consultant for the planned County Road 31 Bike and Safety Improvement Project
  • Ongoing design and right-of-way acquisition efforts for the County Road 41 Washout Realignment Project
  • Continuing design efforts on the 2023 Pavement Preservation Project
  • Continuing design efforts on the 2023 Road Rehabilitation Project
  • Continuing design efforts on the Russell Boulevard Bike and Safety Improvement Project
  • Performed an initial site survey for considering a potential County Road 5 extension project in Dunnigan
The attached budget resolution is needed to complete the $182,805 reimbursement to the Road Fund using the contingency funds. Such appropriations are authorized with a four-fifths vote of the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Government Code section 29125.

With approval of this reimbursement, $25,035 will remain in this contingency funding for the remainder of FY 22-23.
