Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The vehicle gate, fence extension and barbed wire being added to the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Equipment List will secure parking and provide additional safety and security for staff accessing the County vehicles and building. It will also protect internal assets and mitigate vulnerabilities. Currently, the building does not have anything in place to secure county vehicles from vandalism or theft. The vehicle gate, fence extension, and barbed wire equipment will serve to secure parking, protect staff safety, protect internal assets, and prevent trespassers.
