Reason for Recommended Action/Background
The Assessor/Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of Voters certified the results of the City of Davis' May 2, 2023 All-Mail Ballot Special Municipal Election on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. California Elections Code § 15372 requires that the local elections official prepare a certified statement of results and present it to its governing body. This recommended action of the Yolo County Board of Supervisors accepts these results.
