Recommended Action
- Approve agreement with Western Yolo Grange #423 in the amount of $3,785 to fund broadband installation and service for one year at Guinda Grange Hall; and
- Delegate authority to the Manager of Procurement to sign the agreement.

Reason for Recommended Action/Background
On September 28, 2021, the Board of Supervisors (Board) approved the initial American Rescue Plan (ARP) Expenditure Plan, which included $500,000 for projects under the Broadband strategic plan category.
At the July 25, 2023, Board meeting staff presented a recommendation to fund a broadband installation at the Guinda Grange Hall using $3,785 in ARP funds. This funding would allow installation of broadband and pre-pay for service for one year.

No competitive bid is required. The countywide ARP funds were allocated as part of the Board's FY2021-22 budget hearing on September 28, 2021. The Board provided initial approval of this usage of Broadband funding at the Board meeting on July 25, 2023.
