Reason for Recommended Action/Background

The 2017-18 Authorized Equipment List was approved by the Board as part of the 2017-2018 Adopted Budget. Since that time, the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) awarded funding to the Yolo County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) for their Proposition 47 Grant proposal and executed a contract. The approved contract includes funding for seven vehicles including a van to be used in the Yolo County Proposition 47 Steps to Success project. These vehicles will be used on a daily basis by Prop 47 staff to transport clients to and from appointments or assessment related activities.

Approval of the vehicle purchases will allow HHSA to meet its responsibilities as outlined in its contract with the BSCC.
