Approve agreement with Consor North America, Inc. for design and consulting services relating to the County Road 29 bridge replacement project over Chickahominy Slough, not to exceed a total amount of $808,946.12. (No general fund impact) (Lindbo/Razo)

Adopt the plans and specifications for the Bridge Preventive Maintenance Project 1; delegate the discretionary authority to adopt the final plans and specifications to the Director, Public Works Division as the Board of Supervisor's designated representative; authorize the Director, Public Works Division (or the Director's designee) to sign the Notice to Bidders and advertise for competitive bids; authorize the Director, Public Works Division, to execute a construction contract with the lowest responsive bidder provided the contract amount does not exceed budgeted expenditures for the Project, or to reject all bids; and authorize the Director, Public Works Division, to approve all construction change orders, provided the change orders are consistent with the applicable change order limits of the Public Contract Code, but not to exceed a cumulative total of 10% of the total construction contract price.
