The Yolo Animal Services Planning Agency met on the 28th day of July, 2022, via teleconference at 2:00 p.m. pursuant to Government Code section 54953(e)(1) (as amended by Assembly Bill 361), available at the following link.

Action Item: Receive and file Correspondence (Attachment C) received by the YASPA JPA between 6/28/2022 and 6/30/2022.  These items were forwarded to the JPA members via emails on 6/29/2022 and 6/30/2022; however, they were not included with the prior agenda packet since all correspondence was received subsequent to the public posting of the 6/30/2022 YASPA JPA meeting agenda.

Public Comment: Opportunity for members of the public to address the Yolo Animal Services Planning Agency on subjects relating to YASPA business and not otherwise on the agenda. Speakers will be limited to 2 minutes (subject to change).
 


Cindy Scneider, Ann Kokalis and Lea Rosenberg addressed the Board during public comment. Additionally, comments from Evelyn Dale, Julie Chang and Odette Christiansen were read into the record.

Welcome and introduce new County Administrator Gerardo Pinedo. (Van Hoosear)
 


It was noted that Gerardo Pinedo was not able to attend this meeting, so this item will be brought back at the August meeting.

 
8.
Receive staff update on follow-up items from the June 30, 2022, JPA meeting; and provide staff direction as needed. (Van Hoosear)
 


Robert Schabert, Sally Ozonoff, Cindy Schneider and Eileen Samitz addressed the Board on this item.

Received staff update on follow-up items from the June 30, 2022, JPA meeting; and provided staff direction as needed. One action that was decided was to seek a site visit at the El Dorado County Animal Services and Sacramento SPCA jurisdictions.
