Authorize the County Counsel to execute new three-year contracts with local attorneys for conflict indigent defense services in the amount of $13,130.46/month per attorney for the 2023-24 fiscal year, with a stipend for the panel administrator and minor cost of living adjustments in subsequent fiscal years. (No general fund impact) (Pogledich)

Approve third amendment to Delegated Authority Agreement No. 21-293 with Yolo County Children’s Alliance to add funding in the amount of $900,000 for 2022-23; and extend the term through June 30, 2024; and add funding in the amount of $2,700,000 for 2023-24 for a new contract maximum of $6,333,000 for the period of January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2024; and to increase option year funding; and to clarify language in the agreement, for the provision of CalWORKs Stage One Childcare services. James Hyer, Alison Rohe and Alan Hirsch addressed the Board of Supervisors on this item. Additionally, comments from Aida Buelna and Stacy Fritz-Heffernan were placed into the record.

Public Works staff will return to the Board with a Time Set Item to discuss a broader policy framework for the prioritization of county road maintenance projects at a future meeting. Additionally, a check-in report to the Board of Supervisors will be available within 45 days.
