Additionally, comments from West Plainfield Chief Cherie Rita, East David Fire Protection District Bill Weisgerber, Capay Valley Fire Protection District Judith Redmond, Yolo Fire Chief Dan Tafoya, and Yolo LAFCO Executive Officer Christine Crawford were placed into the record.

  • Modified successor agency for Elkhorn FPD from Springlake FPD and CSA9 to solely County Service Area 9 (CSA9);
  • Deferred balance of the 2022 Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) Municipal Service Review (MSR) recommendations for Area 4;
  • Directed CAO to work with contract fire protection districts to ensure appropriate rates established for contracted fire protection services at the next renewal period for each contract district; and
  • Approved $1.5 million in principle and directed staff to return to the Board with various funding recommendations.
