Motion made by Supervisor Vixie Sandy and seconded by Supervisor Provenza to approve the recommended action and to report back to the Board of Supervisors at the appropriate time, and to include a limit not to exceed $100,000 for Architecture & Engineering (A&E) services for the Historic Courthouse reuse. Supervisor Barajas offered a friendly amendment to include the Historic Courthouse reuse in the Capital Improvement Plan and for the examination of other properties in the Clarksburg-area. The Board unanimously authorized the Office of the County Counsel to join an appeal in the California Department of Water Resources case noted on the agenda as a coordinated proceeding involving challenges to the California Water Fix Project, as well as a validation proceeding filed by the Department of Water Resources concerning revenue bonds for project construction. The appeal relates to a recent order by the Sacramento Superior Court involving a request for attorney's fees. |
