The Yolo Animal Services Planning Agency met on the 10th day of April, 2024, in the County Administrator's Conference Room, 625 Court Street, Room 202, Woodland, CA 95695. Here is a link to the video.

Roll Call was conducted by the Clerk. Member Guerrero was absent and Member Vega joined the meeting as an attendee via Zoom; however, she was not able to vote as she did not meet the Brown Act requirements to be able to participate remotely. |

Receive Animal Services Update. (Amato)
Sheila Allen and Eileen Samitz addressed the Board on this item. |
Received Animal Shelter update. Stephanie Amato noted: 1) how many cats and dogs are in the shelter and how many are available for adoption; 2) two Registered Vet Techs and one new Service Officer have been hired; 3) Upcoming Events: Adopt-a-Dog at the HIVE in Woodland, and 'Smitten for Kittens' in Davis; and two local TV stations will feature adoptable pets; 4) DocuPet is up and running and currently waiting for data; 5) HVAC system is out for bid and finalizing plans in the new surgery clinic (public will be invited to participate in sponsoring or donating items); and 4) Leslie Lindbo provided an update on the Community spay/neuter clinic. |

Consider future alternate start time for the Animal Services Planning JPA meeting
Evelyn Dale and Mayra Vega addressed the Board on this item. Member Vega requested the doodle poll be sent to the alternates as well. |
This item was placed on the agenda to discuss a future alternate start time for the Animal Services Planning JPA meeting as the present time conflicts with another meeting. However, due to a couple of members being unavailable at this meeting, no decision was made to change the time. The Chair recommended that staff send out a doodle poll to members and alternates to see what day/time works better and asked that this item be placed on the June 12, 2024 meeting agenda for further discussion. |
