7.
Receive Animal Shelter update.

Received update from Stephanie Amato, Director of Yolo County Animal Services, regarding
  • animal services statistics (surgeries performed, calls disposition, etc.) provided to jurisdictional partners,
  • donations from the local community,
  • Clinic in a Can, and
  • the shelter population (75 dogs, 40 cats).
 
8.
Receive update from Yolo County staff on Animal Services JPA governance models analysis and Request for Information (RFI).
 

Yolo County staff presented on the ongoing JPA organizational and governance study, and the four (4) submissions received by the County by the November 2025 deadline and will be incorporating the responses in the JPA analysis. Staff will finalize the analysis and present to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors in early 2026. 
 
 
9.
Consider frequency of meetings for 2026 calendar year.

Board Members agreed to meet on the third Wednesday of each month beginning February 2026.
