AGENDA ITEM TITLE:
Receive City of Muskogee Annual Phase II Stormwater report summary for permitted MS4s submitted to ODEQ April 25, 2024, and take other necessary action. (Mike Stewart)
BACKGROUND:
The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality requires The City of Muskogee to have a Phase II Small Municipal Separate Storm Sewer discharge permit (OKR04 Permit). The permit was renewed and went into effect September 10, 2021 and requires us to have a Stormwater Management Plan which includes Best Management Practices (BMPs) to reduce pollution to local water bodies. City staff review the program annually and submit an annual report to ODEQ by April 30th of every year. City Staff submitted a report on April 25
th
2024.Staff intends to go over the report with a powerpoint to assist.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Receive Annual Phase II stormwater report summary.
