Subject:

Agreement for Digital Marketing Services

Proposed Motion:

Move City Council approve Agreement No. ED2-918-4422, Amendment 4, with 2060 Digital, LLC, for digital marketing services, in an amount not to exceed $300,000, for the period of one year, beginning March 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027.

Background/Discussion:

Various city departments use social media and digital marketing to reach visitors, businesses, and residents. Previously, departments have contracted for these services on an ad-hoc basis with individual departmental contracts. Following an RFP process, the city entered into an agreement to provide city departments with access to a centralized contractor, on an as-needed basis, that can develop and implement digital marketing campaigns through the city's Economic Development and Communications and Public Affairs departments. Examples of past projects completed under this agreement include tourism fall, holiday, spring, and summer advertising campaigns, water conservation, city events and programs, Connection & Impact's special events, and the budget survey.

Evaluation:

On February 24, 2022, City Council approved an agreement with 2060 Digital, LLC, for digital marketing services, for a one-year period, with the option of up to four one-year extensions. The Contractor has agreed to extend for one additional year under the same terms and conditions.

Financial Implications:

Each campaign will be charged to the department's cost center, as it will have its own unique scope of work, timing, duration, and budget. Projects will be agreed upon between the designated department contact for Economic Development, CAPA or other city departments and the contractor, on an as-needed basis, contingent upon availability of department's budgeted funds.
