Final Adoption of Ordinance No. 5155 Approving the Abandonment of Temporary Drainage Easement at the Northeast Corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek Roads
Proposed Motion:
Move City Council adopt Ordinance No. 5155 approving the abandonment of Temporary Drainage Easement No. 2, located on the Rockefeller Group Chandler Crossroads property at the northeast corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek roads that is no longer needed for public use.
Background:
The Durango Kid, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company, has requested that the City of Chandler abandon Temporary Drainage Easement No. 2 located on the Rockefeller Group Chandler Crossroads property at the northwest corner of Gilbert and Queen Creek roads. As part of their development, they will provide for the required retention and half-street runoff elsewhere on their property and will meet the Chandler design requirements for this development. The owner has paid the required fee for processing this request.
Staff have reviewed and approved the legal description and abandonment documents.
This ordinance was introduced and tentatively adopted at March 26, 2026 City Council regular meeting.
