Proposed Motion: |
Move City Council approve Agreement No. BF2-912-4485 to ASR Construction Group, LLC; Crawford Mechanical Services, LLC; FPS Civil, LLC; DMS Companies, Inc., dba Hernandez Companies; Kowalski Construction, Inc.; MGC Contractors, Inc.; and Nickle Contracting, LLC, for general building maintenance services, in an amount not to exceed $3,595,000, for a period of one year, beginning September 1, 2022, through August 31, 2023. |
Background/Discussion: |
This enterprise agreement will provide services of experienced and qualified licensed general commercial contractors with proven expertise in general, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work relating to indoor or outdoor remodel or tenant improvements, replacement, or preventative maintenance, including landscape work relating to repair, remodel, replacement or maintenance. This service is being awarded to multiple contractors in order to meet the maintenance and repair needs of the City. |
Evaluation: |
On March 17, 2022, City staff issued RFP No. BF2-912-4485 for general building maintenance services. Notification was sent to all registered vendors. Eight responses were received from the following offerers: ASR Construction Group, LLC Crawford Mechanical Services, LLC FPS Civil, LLC DMS Companies, Inc., dba Hernandez Companies Kowalski Construction, Inc. MGC Contractors, Inc. Nickle Contracting, LLC Staff recommends awards to all offerors. All offerors submitted advantageous offers to the City in accordance with the evaluation criteria. The term of this agreement is September 1, 2022, through August 31, 2023, with the option of up to four one-year extensions. |
Financial Implications: |
This enterprise agreement will be utilized by several departments and divisions, which include Public Works & Utilities, Transportation Policy, Community Services, and Buildings and Facilities. Each department shall be responsible for its own budget and expenditures, as needed, for each project. |
