Request for Postponement of Public Hearing Date for Elevated Liquors, LLC.

DISCUSSION

A public hearing date of Tuesday, March 12, 2024, was set by City Council at the February 27, 2024 Council meeting for review of an application for a new Retail Liquor Store License for Elevated Liquors, LLC., to be located at 530 North Broadway, Cortez.

BACKGROUND

Due to the required public notice period in the newspaper and the last Council meeting (February 27, 2024) coinciding within a few days of each other, staff is requesting that the public hearing date for the new Retail Liquor Store License for Elevated Liquors, LLC., be postponed to the next City Council meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday March, 26, 2024.

FISCAL IMPACT

None

RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that Council postpone the public hearing for a new Retail Liquor Store License for Elevated Liquor, LLC., to be located at 530 North Broadway, Cortez, to Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

MOTION

If agreed upon by the City Council, a possible motion would be:

I move that City Council approve the postponement of the public hearing for a new Retail Liquor Store License for Elevated Liquor, LLC., to Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
