Call to Order
Chair Randall called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m.

Public Participation
The Commission cannot act upon items presented during the Public Participation portion of the Agenda. Individual Commission members may ask questions of the public but are prohibited by the Open Meeting Law from discussion or considering the item among themselves until the item is officially placed on the Agenda. Each public comment or presentation will be limited to five (5) minutes.

Commissioner Becker requested a copy of the presentation, and Ms. Fobar stated that she would distribute it to the commission members.
Chair Randall asked about City staff members who reach out to him and how to respond. Ms. Saltzburg stated that it is fine for individual staff members to reach out to the chair and that the chair can respond. Chair Randall stated that he finds open meeting law difficult at times because he wants to be completely transparent at all times. He used the library ADA entrance as an example of a time a staff member approached him and he suggested that the staff person work with the commission.
Chair Randall spoke about the changes in the commission over time and how the views of disabilities have changed.

Chair Randall shared that March was designated at the National Developmental Disabilities Month.

Update from Youth Liaison Joseph Spence, NACoPTT
Mr. Spence and Chair Randall shared that on April 24 there will be an employment encounter at Flagstaff High School from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. It will be a job fair with vendors and post-secondary schools in attendance.

Update from Sidewalk Liaison Jamie Martinez
None.

Staff Participation

Update from Lisa Keita and Stacy Fobar
Ms. Keita announced that she will be leaving the City at the end of the month and Stacy Fobar will take over as staff liaison.
Chair Randall thanked Ms. Keita for her guidance and support.
