The Garland Cultural Arts Commission of the City of Garland convened in regular session at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in the Granville Arts Center meeting room, 300 North Fifth Street, Garland, Texas, with the following members:

Director's Report
Cultural Arts Director Amy Rosenthal presented reports on the update on the allocation of past funds for the Achievement Center of Texas and Garland Historic Landmark Museum.

Monthly Report for Garland Cultural Arts Facilities for the months of July, August, September 2022
Commissioners were given a report on Monthly Attendance from July, August, and September at the Granville Arts Center, Plaza Theatre, and Atrium.
D.
Business Council for the Arts - Leadership Arts Institute Update
Commission member Chip Van Pelt updated Commissioners regarding the newly joined program and its merit.
E.
Juried Art Show and Traveling Exhibit
Purpose presented.

MISCELLANEOUS
The board discussed future public art opportunities and GCAC involvement in the city including a potential sculpture at the tennis center.
