MINUTES
The Public Safety Committee of the City of Garland convened in regular session at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, in the Work Session Room, 200 North Fifth Street, Garland, Texas, with the following members:
Present:
Robert Vera, Council Member-District 6, Committee Chairman
B.J. Williams, Council Member-District 4
Margaret Lucht, Council Member-District 5

Jeff Bryan, Chief of Police

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approval of minutes from

, 2022, meeting.

ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION
a)
Public Comments
Persons who desire to address the Committee on any item on the agenda are allowed three minutes to speak.
Testimony may be held until the item is considered or given at the beginning of any committee meeting.
Invited testimony may also occur at any time, subject to a request of the Member of the Committee and with the approval of the Committee
Chairperson
b) Review and discuss ways to better address residential noise complaints
The Public Safety Committee discussed various options to better address noise complaints. The Public Safety Committee motioned for Chief Bryan to speak with Crime Watch Captains and provide an update with feedback in a future meeting.
