The Senior Citizens Advisory Commission of the City of Garland convened in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, 200 North Fifth Street, Garland, Texas, with the following members:

ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION
a.
STOP THE BLEED TRAINING
Firefighter Jerry Click trained the commission on Stop The Bleed and gave resources on where to obtain materials.
b.
POLICE OFFICER REPORT -
Officer Matt Pesta announced that due to work conflicts he will no longer serve as liaison for the Senior Commission. Officer Cory Jones will be replacing Matt.
Officer Jones touched on vehicle thefts and not leaving any articles visible for people to see. And on the homeless plight in the city.
