The Senior Citizens Advisory Commission of the City of Garland convened in regular session at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 200 North Fifth Street, Garland, Texas, with the following members:

SENIOR CENTER CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - ANDY HESSER & D'LEE WILLIAMS
D'Lee Williams updated on the Commission on the direction of the Senior Center construction. The design process will not begin in the next month.
b.
POLICE OFFICER REPORT - CORY JONES
Officer Jones updated the Commission on the uptake of stolen vehicles in the city. And announced the First Responders Soccer Tournament, July 15th.
Homeless Advocate Officer Wilson spoke on mental health issues plaquing the homeless population.
