Summary of Request/Problem
Council was given a verbal briefing on this item during the June 5, 2023 Work Session. This proposal will amend Section 7.33 of the Garland Development Code, allowing businesses located in the Downtown Historic Sub-district to apply for an annual license to operate within a portion of the public sidewalk abutting and within the span of the façade of the business.
Recommendation/Action Requested and Justification
Approve amendment.
