- Development and Site Plan
The applicant proposes to construct a 9,584 square-foot automotive service building as an expansion to the existing Jupiter Chevrolet site (Exhibit C). The automotive service building will contain ten (10) service bays.
- Parking
The proposed development will reduce the parking by 71 spaces and is not expected to adversely impact the site. The site still meets GDC parking requirements.
- Landscaping
The development does not trigger additional landscaping requirements. There is existing landscaping on-site.
- Building Design
The building elevations meet the building design standards per the GDC.
- Screening and Automotive Service Bay Doors
The GDC Section 2.52(3)(c) requires service bay doors to not face any street. The proposed ten (10) automotive service bays are facing LBJ Freeway.
The applicant proposes an eight (8)-foot tall screening wall to help conceal the automotive service bays from street view.
