CALL TO ORDER
				Chairman Lauritano called the Council Subcommmittee: Boards, Commissions and Committees meeting to order at 3:09 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chair Sheri Lauritano; Boardmember Wally Campbell Absent: Boardmember Laura Kaino Staff Present: City Clerk Darcie McCracken; Arts and Culture Administrator Guylene Ozlanski; Arts and Culture Coordinator Layne Ruiz; Parks and Recreation Deputy Director David Seid; Development Services Deputy Director Kim Bradford

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to EXCUSE Boardmember Kaino.  The motion carried as follows:

				AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously
PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no public comments.
BUSINESS
	1.			APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approve the May 22, 2024 draft minutes of the City Council Subcommittee: Boards, Commissions and Committees meeting.

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to APPROVE the minutes of the May 22, 2024 Subcommittee: Boards, Commissions and Committees meeting.  The motion carried as follows:

				AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously
	2.			Review applications, conduct interviews and discuss appointments and re-appointments to the Arts and Culture Commission.
				The Subcommittee reviewed applications, conducted interviews and discussed the appointments and re-appointments. The Subcommittee expressed a desire to have more than one alternate on the Arts and Culture Commission and asked that staff bring forth a change to City Council to the Arts and Culture Commission By-Laws and City Code to allow for up to three alternates.

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to RE-APPOINT Jerry Drake to the Arts and Culture Commission.  The motion carried as follows:

AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to APPOINT Cindy Braun in the voting position, Laura Fries as the alternate and Kimberly Hill as an alternate contingent upon approval by City Council for a city code change and Arts and Culture Commission by-laws change.  The motion carried as follows:

				AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed
	3.			Review applications, conduct interviews and discuss appointments and re-appointments to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.
				The Subcommittee reviewed applications, conducted interviews and discussed the appointments and re-appointments.

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to RE-APPOINT Sharolyn Hohman.  The motion carried as follows:

AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to APPOINT Rachael Bretthauer as a voting member and Mary Sarkis as an alternate to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.  The motion carried as follows:

				AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously
	4.			Review applications, conduct interviews and discuss appointments and re-appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
				The Subcommittee reviewed applications, conducted interviews and discussed the appointments and re-appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

				MOTION BY Boardmember Wally Campbell, SECONDED BY Chair Sheri Lauritano to RE-APPOINT Greg Clymer, Maria Sambito and Anthony Wang to the Planning and Zoning Commission.  The motion carried as follows:

				AYE: Chair Sheri Lauritano, Boardmember Wally Campbell Passed - Unanimously
	5.			Review and discussion regarding current and upcoming vacancies.
				The Subcommittee reviewed the vacancies that still needed to be filled and directed the clerk to continue recruitment efforts.

NEXT MEETING There is no future meeting scheduled at this time.
