SUMMARY

This item requests Council approval of the recommendations of the Council Subcommittee on City Boards, Commissions and Committees, which is charged with reviewing, interviewing, and making recommendations for appointments to fill all vacancies on City boards, commissions, and committees.

RECOMMENDATION

Approve the appointments and re-appointments to City Boards, Commissions and Committees as recommended by the Council Subcommittee on City Boards, Commissions and Committees. (Darcie McCracken, City Clerk)

There is no direct fiscal impact associated with these appointments.

BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS ACTIONS

The City Council Subcommittee on City Boards, Commissions and Committees is charged with reviewing, interviewing, and making recommendations to City Council regarding appointments to fill vacancies and re-appointments to City boards, commissions, and committees. The City Council Subcommittee met on November 20, 2024. After a review of the applications and interviews, the City Council Subcommittee recommended appointments to the Arts and Culture Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and the Planning and Zoning Commission.
