CALL TO ORDER
				Chairman Barnes called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairman Jennifer Barnes; Commissioner Kyoko Iwaska; Commissioner Anna Johnson Staff Present: Layne Ruiz, Arts & Culture Coordinator
PUBLIC COMMENTS
				There were no public comments.
BUSINESS
	1.			SELECT AND APPROVE ARTIST FOR GRC MURAL PROJECT (Layne Ruiz, Arts & Culture Coordinator)
				Coordinator Layne Ruiz presented the four applications for the Goodyear Recreation Campus Mural Project. The Commissioners discussed each submission, and selected the top artist based on excellence of past work, proven ability to create artwork that responds to a site, and artists' plans for community engagement.

				MOTION BY Commissioner Anna Johnson, SECONDED BY Commissioner Kyoko Iwaska to approve Maria Madrid Reed as the artist for the GRC Mural Project. The motion carried by the following vote:

				AYE: Chairman Jennifer Barnes, Commissioner Kyoko Iwaska, Commissioner Anna Johnson Passed - Unanimously
