Chair Kaino called the Joint Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.

Approve the draft minutes of the February 25, 2021 Joint Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board meeting.

Review and discuss the 2021 and 2022 Actuarial Reports for Goodyear Police and Fire for the Arizona Public Safety Personnel Retirement System.
Board Attorney Lesli Sorensen discussed the 2021 and 2022 Actuarial Valuation reports for Goodyear Police and Goodyear Fire.

Review, discussion and possible action on the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Revised Model Uniform Rules of Local Board Procedure adopted by the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board of Trustees on December 21, 2021.
Board Attorney Lesli Sorensen reviewed the Goodyear Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Police and Fire Local Boards Rules of Local Board Procedure document and discussed the suggested changes. The Board provided input on key elements of the document including designating the City Clerk as the Board Secretary, mirroring the retention schedule used by the City, clarifying the process for re-examinations of disability recipients and adding a review of Re-Employment Determinations.

INFORMATION ITEMS
Chairman Kaino asked about the status of Process Mapping. Board Secretary Darcie McCracken responded that she would get with Chairman Kaino to work on the final changes and bring them back to the Board for adoption.
Chairman Kaino reminded the Board that the conference would be taking place the following week on March 1 with several of the Board scheduled to attend.
NEXT MEETING
There are currently no scheduled future meetings for the Joint Public Safety Personnel Retirement Board.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Chairman Kaino adjourned the meeting at 8:42 a.m.
