CALL TO ORDER
				Chairman Lisa Paulos called the meeting to order at 12:05 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: Chairman Lisa Paulos; Commissioner Erin MacFarlane; Commissioner Carole Palmer Staff Present: Layne Ruiz, Arts & Culture Coordinator

BUSINESS
	1.			2025 COMMUNICATION DISCUSSION (CHAIR LOUISE PAULOS, ERIN MACFARLANE, CAROLE PALMER)
				Chairman Paulos welcomed new committee member Commission Palmer and provided an overview of the Communications & Advocacy Subcommittee. Discussion on capturing photography with Jen Barnes' departure: Empower Arts & Culture Commission members to take photos. Commissioner MacFarlane suggested using Google Drive to share photos. Chairman Paulos proposed assigning a photographer at each event/program using SignUpGenius. Commissioner MacFarlane offered to create a half-sheet with questions to capture community stories at programs and events.  Commissioner MacFarlane emphasized leveraging partners for stories. Advocacy Efforts: Commissioner MacFarlane discussed the importance of advocacy, tagging economic development, and storytelling to highlight the value of the arts. Coordinator Ruiz suggested implementing quarterly story spotlights. Community Connections: Commissioner Palmer is exploring opportunities to connect with PebbleCreek, including potential newspaper or events page features. Further discussion will be held with the Commission at the upcoming general meeting on March 11, 2025.
