CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order at 5:03pm by Chairman Greg Brown.

REVIEW AND DISCUSS SOLID WASTE OPERATIONS AND RATE STUDY
Presentation by Public Works Staff
Sumeet Mohan, Public Works Director, and Adam Kurtz, Solid Waste Superintendent, presented an overview of the Solid Waste Division's operations and programs.

REVIEW AND DISCUSS STORMWATER OPERATIONS AND RATE STUDY
Presentation by Water Services Staff
Craig Lynch, Stormwater Superintendent, presented an overview of the Stormwater Division's operations and responsibilities. Mr. Lynch explained the need for additional funds for project management and maintenance of the city's stormwater infrastructure.

REVIEW AND VOTE ON UPDATES TO THE BY-LAWS OF CITIZENS WATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO INCLUDE STORMWATER WITHIN THE COMMITTEE'S SCOPE
MOTION BY
Commissioner Chad Gallegos, Commissioner Sheri Trapp to approve the updates to the by-laws of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee to include stormwater within the Committee's scope.

5.
REVIEW AND DISCUSS WATER RESOURCES POLICY
Ray Diaz, Water Resources Advisor, presented an overview of a draft water resources policy intended to help the City plan and organize the sustainable and fair allocation of the city's remaining uncommitted water resources. The Committee provided feedback on the various sections of the draft policy and recommended that staff move forward with finalizing a draft to present to the City Council.
6.
REVIEW AND DISCUSS WATER CONSERVATION PLAN
The Committee continued discussions on the development of the conservation plan outlining the various themes to focus on.

NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2024, at Goodyear Public Works located at 4980 S 157th Ave. Goodyear, AZ 85338.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Chairman Brown adjourned the meeting at 6:59 p.m
