CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Louise Privette called the meeting to order at 12:02 p.m.

BUSINESS

GRC MURAL CONCEPT APPROVAL (CHAIR LOUISE PRIVETTE, KYOKO IWASAKA, JERRY DRAKE, LAURE FRIES)
Artist Maria Madrid-Reed presented her community engagement efforts and artwork concepts:
Maria collected survey results, asking Goodyear Recreation Campus users various questions about what makes the park special to them and how they use the space.
Maria created two concepts for review.
The Commission chose the concept depicting owls being active and playing sports. Commissioners mentioned that they inclusivity of the art and the playfulness of the piece and how it connects to the many activities at the Goodyear Recreation Campus.
