CALL TO ORDER

Meeting was called to order by Vice-Chair Robert Shirey at 5:05p.m.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approve the draft minutes of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee meeting on February 12, 2025.

PRESENTATION OF UTILITY RATE STUDY BY FINANCE DEPARTMENT

Ryan Bittle, Finance Manager, provided an overview of the City of Goodyear's finances, including the City's distinct fund types, financial structure(s), and financial policy. Mr. Bittle described the rate creation process and the role of the Citizen's Water Advisory Commission in the utility rate study. The process will proceed with a series of additional meetings that will help ensure a process that is fair and reasonable to customers.

NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Citizens Water Advisory Committee is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at 5:00pm at Goodyear City Hall located at 1900 N Civic Square in Goodyear, AZ 85395.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business to discuss, Vice-Chair Shirey adjourned the meeting at 6:45 p.m.
