KNOX COUNTY BOARD OF EDUCATION WORK SESSION MAY 15, 2026 MINUTES
The Knox County Board of Education met in work session at 10:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2026 in the Boardroom of the Summer Place Building at 500 W. Summit Hill Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee.  The meeting agenda was posted on the Knox County Board of Education webpage. 1					Review of Policy I-450
					Board Policy I-450 was reviewed along with two new related policies (proposed I-451 and I-452). A revised version of Policy I-450 and the two new proposed policies would be added to the Board's June 2026 regular session agenda for consideration.
2					Review of Policy I-270
					Board Policy I-270 was reviewed. A revised version of this policy would be added to the Board's June 2026 regular session agenda for consideration.
3					Review of Policies I-211, I-212 and I-241
					Policies I-211, I-212, and I-241 were reviewed. Revisions to these policies might be brought for Board consideration at a future date.
4					Review of J Section Policies J-350 through J-580
					Board Policies J-350 through J-580 were reviewed. Revised versions of Policies J-352, J-354, J-355, J-360, J-370, J-410, J-450, J-500, J-550, J-552, and J-580 would be added to the Board's June 2026 regular session agenda for consideration.
