Item Summary

This is a contract for Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds will be used for Emergency Shelter, Rapid Re-Housing, Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and administration.   The Community Development & Services Board (CDSB) held a public hearing and public board meeting on June 21, 2023, to discuss and approve the 2023 Action Plan draft.  The Action Plan is the document that was submitted to HUD and serves as the City’s application for, and proposed use of ESG Grants.  HUD has reviewed and approved this Action Plan.

Fiscal Impact

There is no fiscal impact on the General Fund involved with this contract. The funds used originate from HUD. The maximum allocation of this grant is $198,147.
