Ordinance 2nd Reading - Planning (District 4):
Consider Ordinance No. 2022-O0173, for a request from Red Canyon Development, LLC, to annex an area of approximately 16.05 acres, adjacent to the southern city limits of the City of Lubbock, north of Woodrow Road and west of Quaker Avenue.
Item Summary
On December 6, 2022, the City Council held a public hearing and approved the first reading of the ordinance.
On November 1, 2022, the City Council approved a resolution adopting the Municipal Service Plan, which was agreed upon by the City of Lubbock and the property owners.
The next step is for the City Council to consider the ordinance annexing approximately 16.05 acres, adjacent to the southern city limits of the City of Lubbock, north of Woodrow Road and west of Quaker Avenue, on a second reading.
