Budget Ordinance Amendment 2nd Reading - Finance:
Consider Budget Ordinance No. 2022-O0027, Amendment 15, amending the FY 2021-22 Budget for municipal purposes respecting the Grant Fund to accept and appropriate funding from Humanities Texas and the National Environmental Health Association; providing for filing; and providing for a savings clause.
Item Summary
On March 8, 2022, the City Council approved the first reading of the ordinance.
I. Accept and appropriate $7,200 to Buddy Holly Center, from Humanities Texas, for consulting services on improvement to technological infrastructure.
II. Accept and appropriate $5,000 to Environmental Health, from The National Environmental Health Association, for compliance of Self-Assessment Standard 9, a risk based analysis of Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Federal Drug Administration’s five risk factors that contribute to food-borne illnesses and the Comprehensive Strategic Improvement Plan, a plan to identify the five risk factors and development of procedures and education to develop a path to compliance with all standards.
III. Accept and appropriate $6,300 to Environmental Health, from The National Environmental Health Association, for training and staff development.
