The City of Lubbock’s Sanitary Sewer System has large mains that have surpassed their useful design life, and need to be rehabilitated or replaced. Some of these lines currently have issues with inflows and infiltration, both of which are regulated by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Rehabilitation or replacement of these lines will greatly reduce the risk of infiltration, inflow, and structural issues within these lines. The scope of work for the Canyon Lakes Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation Phase 3A project will include the construction of a 24-inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer line in an open cut trench and slip lining existing 24-inch diameter gravity sanitary sewer line with a 20-inch fusible PVC pipe. In response to RFP-22-16399-KM, four proposals were received on March 23, 2022.
