Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to Contract 16449, with Johnson General Contractors Group, LLC, for transit bus stop and shelter maintenance.
Item Summary
Citibus entered into Contract 16449, for transit bus stop and shelter maintenance, with Johnson General Contractors Group, LCC on July 26, 2022. Services provided through the agreement include bus stop sign and shelter installation, removal, relocation, repair, maintenance, and cleaning services.
This amendment will add a labor hourly rate of $80 for miscellaneous repairs to shelters and bus stop signs that were not specified in the original contract. This amendment will not change any other terms or conditions of the original contract.
Contract 16440 is for a term of one year, with the option of 4, one-year extensions. The City does not guarantee any specific amount of compensation volume, minimum or maximum, for shelter and bus stop installation, removal, or relocation under this Amendment and Contract.
Fiscal Impact
Cost associated with this amendment is already included in the FY 2023 Citibus Budget. There will be no additional cost to the City of Lubbock.
