In 2018, the Water Utilities Demonstration Garden was constructed at 406 Municipal Drive. The sustainable landscape was designed to showcase the wide variety of planting material that thrive in our climate with only a limited amount of supplemental water. This contract will ensure all specified areas are of the demonstration garden are maintained and will enhance the educational garden program experience. The contract establishes annual pricing for landscape and tree maintenance. Services include, edging, trimming, litter control, flower bed maintenance, weed and pest control, tree pruning and fertilization. Proposals were received and evaluated using the following scoring criteria: Key Personnel/Staff - 25 points; Responsiveness - 15 points; Responsibility - 15 points; Experience/Qualifications - 15 points; Equipment Status - 10 points; Originality - 10 points; and Cost - 10 points.
