Item Summary

On May 26, 2026, the City Council approved the first reading of the ordinance. The purpose of this ordinance is to correct an error in the previous Budget Amendment 18. I. An error was made in transferring funding from the Airport Fund to the Airport Capital Projects Fund. The beginning transfer budget was listed incorrectly as $6,925,000. This beginning transfer budget should have been $3,125,000. This issue occurred due to a previously approved budget amendment by the City Council to replace $3,800,000 in Airport Cash with grant funding in CIP 92772, Extend Taxiway L. The replacement of these funds resulted in decreasing the Airport cash transfer by the same amount. The Airport cash was there as a placeholder until the grant funds were approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
