An Invitation to Bid (ITB) was issued to request bids from vendors who could provide annual pricing for the maintenance and repair services of the City’s heavy-duty vehicles, equipment, and trailers.
In response to ITB 26-19380-AE, bids were received from Bruckner's Truck & Equipment, Lubbock Truck Sales, American Equipment & Trailer, Longley Diesel & Equipment Services, Cummins South Plains, Associated Supply Company, and Rush Truck Center.

The contracts will be for a term of 1 year with 4 one-year extensions, with the date of the term beginning on formal approval.
All stated annual quantities are approximations of usage during the time period to be covered by pricing established by this bid. Actual usage may be more or less. Order quantities will be determined by actual need. The City of Lubbock does not guarantee any specific amount of compensation, volume, minimum, or maximum amount of services under this bid and resulting contract.
The Fleet Operations Staff recommends award of Category 1 though Category 4 items to all seven (7) vendors who submitted bids, to ensure proper coverage of maintenance and repair for the City of Lubbock’s heavy-duty vehicles and equipment: |
