Item Summary

On July 8, 2025, the City Council approved Contract 19005 with Tom's Tree Place, for landscaping in the medians in Glenna Goodacre Boulevard, following the closing of three intersections.  On December 9, 2025, the City Council approved Amendment No. 1 to extend improvements into the right-of-way on the south side of Glenna Goodacre Boulevard between Avenue R and Avenue Q. These improvements include the following:  Pedestrian Lighting  Landscaping  Irrigation Paving Repair  Amendment No. 2 will extend improvements into the median in Glenna Goodacre Boulevard between Avenue R and Avenue Q. These improvements include landscaping and irrigation repair. This amendment will also include installing bollards in the three closed intersections in the Glenna Goodacre Boulevard median, completed in 2025.

Fiscal Impact

Amendment No. 2 for Contract 19005, in the amount of $112,461.25, is funded in Capital Improvement Project 92254, North Overton TIF Public Improvement Projects. The total of this contract is now $254,786.75.
