Item Summary

On November 4, 2025, the City awarded Professional Services Agreement, Contract 18963, to the highest ranked proposer, Enprotec / Hibbs & Todd, Inc. of Abilene, Texas, for a total not to exceed amount, of $593,970, with a contract time of 210 days, to design Portable Generators and ATS Design for Emergencies. The engineer will determine the specifications of the generators and then design their installation. Two generators will be installed at the Civic Center to provide emergency power, and three generators will be installed at the South East Water Reclamation Plant for emergency power. On April 28, 2026, Amendment No. 1 to Contract 18963, which was approved by the City Council, had incorrect and inconsistent terms regarding contract duration. This Corrected Amendment No. 1 amends the term of agreement to 575 days from the Effective Date, to comply with federal grant requirements and allows the City to retain the Engineer for the duration of the delivery and manufacturing of electrical equipment.

Fiscal Impact

This Corrective Instrument to Amendment No. 1 will have no fiscal impact.
